Work in pairs. Act out a short conversation between a parent and a 15-year old. They are talking about getting a part-time job at one of the places mentioned by McKenzie and Rhiannon.
- The teenager is to say why he or she wants to get a job.
- The parent is to react to what the teenager is saying and disagree about something.
- Record the conversation.
- Listen to the recording. Decide how you could make the conversation more convincing.
- Act out the conversation to another pair.
