My name is Dan and I do parkour. Parkour is … a discipline where you train yourself to overcome challenge. So what you’ll often see is people moving from one point to another as quickly and efficiently as possible using their own body.
It requires a great deal of training, so for myself I train … about five times a week. Three sessions a week are strength and conditioning, lots of heavy squats and Olympic Lifts, lots of sprinting to make sure that my body performs as it should. And then, twice a week, I’ll do technical training where I’ll go out and practise the movements.
