  1. Find information online about the designs for a new New Zealand flag. Write three sentences explaining how the design will be chosen. Draw the flag you like best. Label your drawing to show what the different parts symbolise. Write two sentences explaining why you like this flag.
  2. Find out about Maori art or the Maori “marae” (meeting houses). Write a paragraph about this. Include some examples of Maori tattoos or other Maori art.
